spoke to mark earlier this evening. he was in the middle of a transfusion. it is more of a drip drip thing rather than my expectation that they kinda did it quicker - not that i had much of an idea. today seems to have been a another tough one for mark. i briefly spoke to the cardiac high dependancy sister on the phone and she said that there had been a few tears today.
here's a challenge to you - dig out those photos with you and mark or just you or just mark and email them to me at timbuckler@gmail.com. i'll put them on the blog and will attach your comments. whoever puts on the most or funniest or just makes the most effort i'll ... take you out for a meal - way-hay!! except if you are from mark's school then i'll just get mark to buy you a school lunch when he gets out! now come on - how much of a motivation do you need?!!

Mark, hang in there and please get well soon! We're all missing you at school- I need you back here to sort out Roger for me! Best wishes, hugs to you and your family too.
Hi Mark,
As everyone else, wishing you speedy recovery and patience for all these tests. We're praying they get some more conclusive results soon.
I'm still making the most of working from home - Jamie's almost fully trained up so he can do my job allowing me to follow Wimbledon without the distraction of work.
And I do believe it's our turn to have you round for Sunday lunch - we look forward to you being available for that.
Tim, Sarah and Jamie.
take by one of our small people - can you tell who we are??

Note to Tim ... you'll have to print pics or hide right side of screen!
This is something that happened to Mark when we were staying in Chapare (Bolivian jungle) in a house with no walls.
Mark got up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, but he couldn't be bothered to go down the rickety ladder in the dark and thought no one would mind (or even notice) if he went off the side of the sleeping platform.
Unfortunately he was standing on a plank which was not very well nailed down, and in mid-stream, the plank tipped up, sent him flying over the side of the house. To add insult to injury, his boots had been on the other end of the plank and flew up to hit him in the face on the way down.
So he landed on the ground in a heap of Mark, boots and wee. And no one had been awake to see it.
Amazingly, I did the same thing the following year, minus the boots and the wee, and in my sleep, and ended up with a broken foot.
You'd think someone would put walls on the thing.
