tim here - visited mark last night. obviously he knew about the blog but wanted to post a message himself so he typed one on his laptop and i saved it on my memory stick. it took him about 15 mins. here it is :)
Dear All,
My brother came in to ICU tonight to visit me and show me some of the blog that you have all been all contributing to, and I can say that even thought my hands are still swollen and painful I really wanna say how happy I am for the life I have, I am truly blessed by the kindness written in this blog it helps me get through another day of uncertainty.
I know I have Pneumonia but this is not the problem, the problem is where it originated from and why does my temperature continue to fluctuate.
I look up and see hundreds of cards some home made and all with sensitive encouraging notes in.
Thank you everyone for support and encouragement, I am truly grateful.
Mark

Hi Mark, when we last spoke you discussed making a blog; but how could we know these exceptional circumstances would lead to it. We are all thinking of you and wishing your speedy recovery. Please try to keep your positive energy and trust that you're on the mend.
Hey Mark
Can't imagine what it's like for you guys right now, we've been through a storm or two but this is a serious gale!
Amazing that you found the strength to type out a message, hope you're doing ok, feel a little helpless right now but can at least be thinking and praying for you and ruth and the family.
In the meantime, if you needed some light relief, there's some pics up on our blog of ema's 70s themed 30th birthday party from last night. To check them out go to the following link:

Keep your pecker up (whatever that means?!) and just remember (quick summary of bible verse) nothing can seperate us from the love of God in Jesus.
Lots of love

Hi Mark
Sorry to hear about your mystery illness. I really hope you get better soon. We'll be praying for you.
Sarah and the girls are in England at the moment and I am about to leave Bolivia tomorrow morning to join them for a few weeks. We're still out here working with the street kids and planting a church.
Get well soon
Lots of love

Hey Markee and Ruth, Fuller family here. We are so sorry to hear that you are ill. Wish we could all be there, but that probably wouldn't help. We will be praying for you all, especially Ruth, Leo and the little guy we haven't met yet. One of these days, we really must get our two families together. We think of you often Mark and remember the impact you had on us in Bolivia. You are still a very special friend, even across the miles and years that keep us apart. We still hope that you guys will all come to Bolivia for a visit. Tim, thanks for setting this up. Mark talked of you often when we were in Bolivia together. You are a wonderful brother. Give Mark a hug for us. Your namesake has grown lots Mark. He is ten now and we have a 7 year old and a two year old that you need to meet. God Bless my friend. We are praying. David, Kerry, Rachel(15), Cameron (13), David Zac (10), Rianna (7) and Caleb (2).
mark:
i was totally gutted to get to the ICU unit on Friday and have to turn back because I'm not sure I'd had chicken pox growing up!!! as much as the thought of sharing a bed next to you is appealing, i had to pass on the opportunity of possibly catching it.
well - just to say that we're praying for you as often as we think of and/or hear of you. i was reading psalm 23 again and focused on the part that says, "THOUGH i walk through the valley of the shadow of death...I fear NO evil, for you are with me". i have no doubt that jesus is with you.
love to you and ruthie from the haineseseses (there's almost four of us now). please tell us if there's anything we can do (other than catch chicken pox).
dave.
Darling boy,
Now then, I am not going to accept any nonsense here. Get better soon because you are NOT allowed to be ill. You are our leader and without you we are nothing.
We are all okay, although the kids are a little more obsessed with Doctor Who than is probably safe. Gabriel does a great dalek impression even though he isn't really talking yet.
By the way. My mother-in-law is a herbalist, as I may have mentioned, and once when I was really ill and had a terrible temperature which wouldn't go down, she gave me a mysterious drink. I could identify honey and menthol in it but was too unwell to worry about other ingredients. The next day I was a lot better.
Yury told me a few days later that it had been urine. Why don't you ask if it's available on the NHS?
Love you loads and my thoughts are with you, Ruth and the boys
