Relationship
It is great to read stories about your experiences with mark. they make me smile because i can picture him doing the different things! i know also that these stories mean so much to mark because he looks back on the one thing that stands true in his life - that it really is all about relationship. he was telling me this the night before last. he talked about how he is finding a new perspective on existence. his awareness of and relationship & peace with God, while tested, grows strong; also the importance of his friendships, each one of you. if you have time to read barty's post from yesterday (its the long one!), do so. it explains the jamaica photos and is not only interesting but also fun. no news to update you with. recent tests have proved 'inconclusive'.

Hey Mr Buckler
It's times like these I guess you realise who your friends are, and boy have you got lots of people that care about you by the looks of things!
Anyhow, sent a special 'get well soon' package to your house with some cds in the other day.
I wasn't sure whether you were up with ipod world but looks from another posting as though you are!
So hopefully at least some of the stuff I sent can just be downloaded onto your ipod (if Ruth has the time and the know-how) so you can listen to some tunes and spiritual stuff whilst confined to bedfordshire (so to speak!)
Was trying to think of something I could do to help apart from pray, and that was the solution i came up with!
One of the songs I threw into the mix in there was one called 'You're Everything' by a geezer called David Crowder, which I've only just recently got into and bought off itunes.
I think the whole vibe of it is amazing, and it's one song that takes me Godwards in a really cool fresh sort of way, so hopefully it might do the same with you!
Have also recently been really inspired by a guy called Louie Giglio who heads up a student movement called 'Passion' in the States (David Crowder being one of several key lead worshippers involved), hence why I included one of his talks in there too.
Stay you, keep it real, thinking of you all and praying as ever

Good one Tim - I was hoping to start an avalanche with the stories, as these have just got to be what will keep Mark going. Thanks for posting those jamaica pics - it was a pleasure digging them out and trawling through them again.
Mark himself is a great story-teller - much better than me! Mark will tell you all about the fact that I used to get him in to my year 9 lessons to relive his experiences whilst in Bolivia. All to do with my rainforest unit. Strange thing is, I can only remember about the guy on the train (not very appropriate here) and Mark being thrown to the crocodiles!
So here's a challenge to ex Beaufort pupils - get blogging about those experiences that you remember Mark telling you about!! Mike Howse would be a good bet to remember (hi Mike)
Or reminisce about Mark in fancy dress for red nose day. Which was the best? The worst? The funniest?
Personally, I think the craziest was the Arab - red face, and arab dress. Amazing stuff.
And apart from all that - keep going mate. Still think of you loads.
Barty and family xxx
